49,000 Miles Per Watt

Larry Cahoon
Time for a little celebration...........

In the pursuit of ever lower power - I was mainly playing around this time
- I picked up Ken, KA0W/M yesterday evening in Jackson county, IA with a
new low power of 15 mWatt.  The calculation came in at just over 49,000
miles per watt.

The equipment was a K1 and a Ten Tec 290 attenuator feeding one of those 44
ft. dipoles fed with ladder line that comes up for discussion here ever so
often.
