6 meter problem(s)

Joe Stofko-2
Have noticed a couple of things on 6 meters...
Was on a repeater - 53.150 / 52.150 .. adjusting
power out to my 6m vertical. PTT was active with
power out... abt 70 watts. When I got to 85 watts,
or so, the sub display warned HI SWR, yet the
meter display showed only 1 bar of reflected power.
I checked the tune function (set at 50 watts) and
the display showed 1.1:1 ...  The ATU was not
engaged at the time.  Also, another strange
thing happened yesterday evening. While working
a couple of friends on that same repeater, the
transmitter quit. PTT when activated showed no
power out, at all...  After a couple of PTT's
still with no power out... it suddenly returned.

Anyone else seeing erratic behavior on 6 ?

Also, still waiting on a firmware update to
provide greater deviation on FM...   < 3.0kHz
just is not adequate for US FM operation !

My post from yesterday dealing with 6 meters, "No XMIT on 6 meters".
There have been other posts dealing with 6 also.

How long was the transmission on 6 meter FM.  The transmitter may have shut
down because of temperature as FM is a 100 percent duty cycle.
