60 M transmit problem on K3

john petters
Hi Folks,
Very pleased with my new K3. Worked 5B4 on 17M 2 way AM on 3 watts carrier.

I have a problem on 60M. I cannot get the transmitter to work below our
5.398 frequency. The VFO B message says 'end'. Any ideas?
Also I can't get more than 8 watts carrier output on 6M.

Thanks in anticipation

That's rather strange, John. K3s supplied to the UK should have transmit
enabled from 5.150 to 5.420 MHz.  All that might be necessary is some
tweaking of two of the trimmers as described in an Application Note...

Something else worth checking.

I get an ERR TXG message at the extremes of the UK 60m allocation.
Problem yet to be resolved.
