A K2 Aftermarket Un-Module PCB Accessory Kit

A K2 Aftermarket Un-Module PCB Accessory Kit

KI4GGX and I have been collaborating on the design of a set of PCB

based un-module headers for the K2.  Some of you may recall Gary’s

recent post in which he uncovered an error in the original Un-KNB2

design specification.

Thus far we have created an extensive user’s guide for un-modules,

and adopted product branding for this accessory product.  Our next

step is to determine the level of interest in our idea so that we

can go into production.

In order to get your feedback on this idea, we have created the

“unpcbs” Yahoo group, see http://groups.yahoo.com/group/unpcbs/.

There you will find images of our prototype PCBs, our 24-page User’s

Guide, a short but growing FAQ list, and several polls that we have

set up.

Due to the high volume of traffic on the Reflector, we request that

you keep this thread off Reflector.

Ken, WB2ART, K2 #769
Gary, KI4GGX, K2 #4067
