A mod. request for the K3 Band0-Band3 output

Luigi Casari
Regards to all
I am building an interface to decode the present signals on the Band0-Band3
output.
This using an IC CD4067BE, the intention is to have a positive tension on
the various bands (for switch some rx preampl. or switch some antennas), a
general PTT for the HF band and a PTT for the 50MHz.
On the 144MHz I need a PTT  and a +12V on RX for the external preamplifier.

I have the K144XV module and I have too the PR6 preamplifier for the 50 MHz.

So the DIGIOUT1 signal is already used for the preamplifier, the question is
as know when the K3 is on the 144MHZ seen that the BAND0 to BAND3 goes to 0V
and this is the same condition used for 60m band.

It is not possible to use TRN1-TRN9 because even they go out on the same
pinof the BAND3 to 0  and they have address used in HF.

INT TRN1 status is used for the 144MHz module and is not present on the
external connector of the K3 otherwise with a logical circuit it easy to
reads the status and rebuild a PTT and a 12V in RX.

Is possible have an other condition on this 4 pin fo 144MHz that there are
still 5 more free possibilities on 16 channel multiplexer/demultiplexer ?

For example BAND3=1, BAND 2=1, BAND1=0 and BAND0=0.

This is simple mod on firmware I suppose| and simplifies the life to anyone
wants build an interfaces for controlling various PA and preamplifiers.

  Luigi,

The switch between HF and TRN band decoding is determined by the state
of DIGOUT0 (ACC pin 6) - see the 2nd column of page 19 in the manual.
Add a pullup to this line and use it to steer which band decoder chip is
selected.
