APF ringing

Is there away for the user to adjust the APF?  It is over powering and
ringing.

Bob, I'm not sure how you are using the APF but I'll make a few general comments from my experience with it.  The APF is intended for occasional use only on weak signals that aren't much above the noise level.  And when used, it requires careful fine tuning so that the signal is precisely centered in the K3 rx passband.  

The "over powering and ringing" is by design, to make it effective in popping those tuned-in weak signals out of the noise.  The APF was never intended to be left engaged while tuning the band.
