AT-600 Pro Autotuner issue resolved

thanks to everyone who commented on my post.

After reading everything sent to me, I reviewed my options. The reason I
selected to use a 1:1 current balun instead of a 4:1 balun was based on an
application note from the DX Engineering web site...

so after thinking over what I had, I tried adding a 3 foot length of coax
to the lead from the balun to the station.

now the tuner is capable of tuning to 1.5:1 max on all the bands, and on 40
and 80 it also got better...

Note that there is still a high VSWR on the coax feed from the balun to the
tuner, so this length should be as short as possible.  Mine is ~ 10 feet
now.

You may be able to accomplish the same thing by extending the "open
wire" line by a few feet and reducing the length of the coax.  Another
option would be to reduce the length of the antenna a few feet to get
away from the high impedance condition.
