Julius,
My nautical forays are limited to the Staten Island ferry, when I'm down there. Some years ago the xyl and I took that cruise and had a fine time. I took my HT along and was able to talk on a variety of repeaters from W7s in the Puget Sound area to VE7s along the passage to KL7s up in the Alaska panhandle. Hope you have a nice trip. 73, Bob N6WG ----- Original Message ----- From: "J F" <[hidden email]> To: "Elecraft Discussion List" <[hidden email]> Sent: Wednesday, August 02, 2006 6:57 AM Subject: [Elecraft] Alaska - Cruise > Any Elecraft folks at the port o' calls for the > "inland passage" Alaska cruises? > > Maybe someone else is doing the September 10 Princess > Alaska Cruise (from Seattle)? > > Cheers, > Julius > n2wn > _______________________________________________ > Elecraft mailing list > Post to: [hidden email] > You must be a subscriber to post to the list. > Subscriber Info (Addr. Been some 20+ years since I've been on the Ferry...
come to think of it, probably been a good decade since I've been on any ferry! Thanks Bob!
I have several guys in state that are hoping I'll haul the K2 along and provide KL7 on 160! (Would love to!) Believe it or not, I don't own a HT...
