When using the long wire antenna recommended in the KX1 Manual thrown over a tree branch or over the cross on the top of most mountains (in the Alps) the weight of the antenna is directly on the BNC to the Banana-Post adapter. It would be better in my opinion if the antenna were run to an anchor point and then from there to the KX1 adapter. Does anyone have any experience with this and any suggestions as to how it could best be done?
