Another K3 in France

[Laurent Ferracci]

My K3/100 #695 was:
- Ordered on October 16, 1007
- Announced by Katiegram on April 8, 2008, with invoice 50974
- Shipped via UPS on April 11
- Delivered at my door on April 15 after a first visit of the brown
truck on April 14 (wow, that UPS shipment costs, but rocks !)
- Mounted yesterday evening !

Laurent, I assume it was a kit, oui?  Yours shipped much sooner after
the Katiegram than mine did.  Mine is factory assembled which I think
added a couple of weeks to my ship time.

Yes, it was a kit (K3/100 with KAT3, KXV3 and 0.250kHz filter - The 1K8
filter was backordered).

After i received my Katiegram that announced a shipping "in 1 to 3
weeks" i sent an email to let them know that i was leaving on May 2 for
a little DXpedition (TK7C) and that it would be great if i could have my
K3 ready for the trip. Maybe they took that into account ?

By the way, i sent my order on October 16, 2007, not 1007. Even if the
wait was like a thousand years !
