Another K3 programming question

Hi All,

OK, so have the logger(RUMped) now keying the DVR in the K3 directly  
(very cool), next question is is there a way to send an abort to the  
K3 through the serial line to stop the DVR while its playing? Just  
like if you tap the M1 to play a canned CQ in SSB then tap the RIT  
button to abort the transmission?

Just tap (almost) any key to abort DVR playback;  same model as the CW
memory playback.  I use the REC key since it's nearby the M1 - M4 keys
and The Finger is in the neighborhood anyway....

Hi Lee, I have not tried it via programming.... but the book says tap
REC for cancel.  SWT37; should do the same.

Perfect, that looks like it works, I kick off the M1 then send a  
k31;swt37; and it stops :)

Hello again Lee...  I've been playing with it.  I cannot find a way to
programatically tell that a message is 'running'...  Without knowing
that, issuing SWT37; when the message has ended will setup a record
function.
