Dear Group,
Over the past few years I have had Rose Kopp make bags for each of my
Elecraft rigs (a Velcroed together double bag in black for my K3, P3 combo,
and a burgundy one for my K2) but I must admit she out did herself in the
one for my KX3! I asked her to make it about the size of a K2 bag, in
order to be able to also put my Heil traveler headset inside. Well she did
an absolutely terrific job sewing in a Velcro spacer to separate the the
inside into two compartments. Obviously the side pockets can hold the
Lith/Ion battery and connecting wires. I asked her to make it in orange
with black trim (rather festive for this time of year ;-) This bag is over
the top nice, and I will be proud to show it off when visiting different
clubs in my area.
The real beauty is now I have only 2 bags to carry for any outing, the
Orange KX3 bag and my Buddy Pole bag. Everything right where it belongs!
