Antenna recommendations for UK trips

Many thanks to the several people who responded both on and off this
reflector with antenna suggestions for my frequent trips to Scotland.  They
were very helpful.  Given that my mother-in-law's location in The Borders
southeast of Edinburgh is typically windy, the experiences related about
guying were particularly welcome.  Thanks again.
