Re: Anything News at Dayton from Elecraft??

I have been pondering about the amplifier
after K2 at home. It needs to have some 20dB of gain.

www.ibelings.com presents an interesting 2x MRF157 unit.
The gain is 16dB or less but includes 60MHz, 1000W out.

www.communication-concepts.com presents Motorola EB104
with 4x MRF150. Now, this has over 20dB gain for all K2 bands, 600W out.
With 2 unis full power is possible if interested.

Which make me think the Elecraft amplifier has attenuator in front,
and this can be taken from service for use with K2 barefoot (5-15W).
Without guarantee, of cource.

I am slowly building one EB104 and have all the problems of
copper, heat-sink, components etc. Lucky me there is Communicaion
Concepts, but I would like to see an Elecraft-like
kit available.
