All the rigs in the pictures are K3's. The clue is the carrying strap +
size, or the strip of light gray buttons on the right front panel + size. 73, Guy. Given that three of the Germans plus SP5XVY were members of the VP6DX team which outed the K-3 into the DXpedition environment, and given that personal messages from some of these guys indicated that the transceiver lineup would be K-3s, I am suggesting there is a high percentage of possibility that the expedition is POWERED BY ELECRAFT. 73 de Milt, N5IA ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[hidden email] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html |
I mentioned the use of K3 in ZL8X in this mail reflector well before hand.
I attended the Asia Pacific DX Convention http://apdxc.org on 7 Nov 2010 when SP5XVY gave his presentation of ZL8X. All the radios in teh ZL8X are K3. cheers, Johnny VR2XMC ----- 郵件原件 ---- 寄件人﹕ "Milt, N5IA" <[hidden email]> 收件人﹕ Guy Olinger K2AV <[hidden email]>; "David Ferrington, M0XDF" <[hidden email]> 副本(CC) [hidden email]; John Harper <[hidden email]> 傳送日期﹕ 2010/11/25 (四) 12:30:49 AM 主題: Re: [Elecraft] At least one K3 at ZL8X ----- Original Message ----- From: "Guy Olinger K2AV" <[hidden email]> > All the rigs in the pictures are K3's.
