Auto CW <> RTTY

Evert Bakker (PA2KW)
Hello,

I'm basically a cw operator, but this morning I heard OH0 on 24 Mc in RTTY.
Well, time to test the K3 features.

After some reading and testing I got it decoding RTTY. I used Data Mode /
AFSK A, 45 Bps / Pitch 915 - 170. I hope this is a correct setting for auto
decoding RTTY.

Then I wanted to TX using my paddle. Whatever I do, I can't get it in TX
mode. I read the instructions on page 31/32 (looks like higher programming
language :-) ) but no success.

OH0 is gone, and I'm left with a question. What do I have to do to get it
TX-ing RTTY from the paddle.

Thanks in advance.

I think you have to be in FSK-D mode for CW->RTTY transmit.

Thanks to all who responded,
I just worked 2 station on RTTY (my first -:) )
You just have to get used to it, but for now and then is OK.
