Auto notch use

Good Evening ALL!
 I had been "fiddling around" with the DSP de noiser settings in the
spirit of exploration and discovery according to the best wishes of Lyle.
 After returning to 80 meter operation, a strong signal appeared close by
and I flipped on the auto notch. The notcher did not make much difference
and I was quite surprised by this since it had been working quite well
before I started messing around with the DN. settings.
 Did I break something or do the DN settings normally affect the auto
notch operation? If so, to what extent?

The denoiser and notch are essentially independent.  You might want to
verify that the autonotch settings have not accidentally been changed,
if you haven;t done so already.
