BC band station on 1800 kc

Larry Godek
Check your antenna and feedline connections as well as your connection to a ground.  Loose items there could be causing diode action inducing extra signals. Happens here in the desert with things being so dry.  Dry soil most of the time until you get a rain, then it swells up, then shrinks again as drying comes.  That's another reason for multiple connections to good grounds out here.  I don't have a broadcast station for about 10 miles but occasionally i get overload on some freq's.  Might be an easy fix and then it might require some extra effort.
