BKM for shipping KPA1500?

Hisashi T Fujinaka
"BKM" = best known methods

I think I may have to ship back a broken KPA1500 and so I'm wondering
what others have done to ship it. I'm pretty sure I have the box it came
in, but it may need better packing.

I know it'll cost me a bit to ship, but a broken amp is not doing me any
good. What's the safest? FedEx store? UPS store?

And, of course, I'm waiting for support to confirm before I ship it.
They haven't been the most pleasant, but that's a different story for
another day.

Thanks.

The box it shipped in with the internal supports should work fine.
While I prefer UPS, any of the other carriers will be fine.

Email [hidden email] and request an RSA.  Do not ship it until you
have the RSA form filled out and follow the shipping instructions.

Thanks Don. I just wanted to make sure.

I have one more test to do - to try a new cable. The ohmmeter said the
old cable was fine but I'm having a cable sent.

What does Elecraft charge for shipping the KPA 1500 by USPS.
