BL2: Heating and ventilation question?

I just recently prototyped a Lexan enclosure for the BL2 and was asked by
others on the list how much heat could be dissipated by the BL2 and if
ventilation was necessary.

I figured I would post to this wonderful list and solicit some fine
commentary on the matter.

So what do you think - is ventilation necessary?

I'm not an expert, but my gut feeling is yes.  You can't be sure that a user
won't put 300 watts through the balun, or put 100w through it at a very high
SWR.
