BNC to UHF adapter

Darwin, Keith
I assume by UHF you're talking about the female version of PL-259
(SO-239)?  That will put the weight of a PL-259 connector plus the
adapter on the BNC panel jack on the rig.  I had though it would be
better to hook up a piece of coax with just the BNC connector to reduce
the weight on the rig.

Keith,
I simply use a BNC to UHF female adapter....works slick!

Keith:  At RS you can get a short length of RG58 with BNC connectors
on both ends.  Then you can do one of two things.

a) get a BNC-female/PL-259 adapter (278-121) attached to an inline
SO-239 coupler (278-1369) or
b) get an inline BNC-female coupler (278-115) attached to a BNC/
SO-239 adapter (278-120)

Either way you end up with a cable with a BNC connector at one end
and an SO-239 on the other.

RE: BNC to UHF adapter

Phil LaMarche
Keith,
Even easier and using quality product, Tom at [hidden email] will make you
any length of any coax and any connector to your specifications.  He usually
ships next day.  He's great. Send him an email with what you want and have
him quote it.
