Is it a way to dump to a file the current k3 configuration ? I think to all settings, for example to activate digimodes with my Signalink interface I touched mode, line level input and so on. My goal should be to have a reliable restore point to rollback in cause of my errors during future setting modification temptatives. Many thanks to everybody, HNY 2011 and 73 - Giorgio

You can use the K3 Utility Program to save the configuration and then
restore it later if you need to. Or are you wanting a hard copy of the configuration info? -----Original Message----- From: [hidden email] [mailto:[hidden email]] On Behalf Of ik1bxn Sent: Saturday, January 08, 2011 12:25 PM To: [hidden email] Subject: [Elecraft] Backup/Restore current configuration via file Is it a way to dump to a file the current k3 configuration ? Hi Fred (I think this is your firstname) yes I wonder if there is a way to copy the configuration info. I see there's another utility called K3_EZ that many collegues appreciated, but I did not try it right now.
My question starts from this: I noticed collegues having problems setting k3 for digimodes using external card . I suffered too with my signalink but in a short time I was operating (thanks to help I found here). Now I'd like to help who's posting question in this matter, but to do this I would navigate deeply into menus to find what I touched to have my k3 running in digi via signalink. If I had a dump of my configuration I should have had the possibility to help in easier way I think. 73 and thanks. Giorgio |
