Boy Scouts need your help [thanks for the help!]

Mark Volstad
Thank you to all who helped (and offered to help) my group of six Boy Scouts
complete their first amateur radio QSOs this morning on 20 Meters, and earn
their Radio merit badge in the process. Each was able to overcome mic fright
and were thrilled when they received responses to their CQs from MS, TX, CO,
NM and CA. All have expressed an interest in earning their Technician
license so hopefully you will hear them on the air again in the future!

73,
Mark  AI4BJ

... And sorry for missing the opportunity!

73,
Mike, N0SO
BSA Merit Badge Counselor for:
Backpacking, Electricity, Electronics and Radio

PS:  If you get the opportunity to backpack at the Philmont Scout Ranch, carry a small QRP radio. It's a lot of fun and great exposure to ham radio for the scouts
