Buddi stick and KX1

Curron HILL
Has anyone used a Buddi stick with the KX1?  If so, how does it work?

Re: Buddi stick and KX1

I have an KX1 with the ATU and 30m Band module.  I set up my Buddipole with three taps on each coil for each band.  Changing bands is as simple as leaning the Buddipole over and changing the shorting wire from one tap to the next and switching bands on the KX1.  I love the combination because I can rotate the Buddipole to get a little better signal on some weak stations.  I put my KX1 and Buddipole in my Rucksack and use it on the AT.  It makes my ruck a little heavier than I would like, but for short treks 4-6 miles I can live with it.  It is almost like the combination of KX1 and Buddipole were made for each other.
