Building Your New K2 With Un-Module Headers

Ken Kaplan
THIS MESSAGE IS FOR THOSE OF YOU INTENDING TO BUILD YOUR NEW K2 PER THE
"REWORK-FREE / PLUG & PLAY READY K2" SUGGESTIONS ON OUR "UNPCBS" WEBSITE.
                               --- - - - ---
As a follow up to my previous post on this subject, most of the necessary
updates to our "unpcbs" website ...

     http://home.cfl.rr.com/garyhvizdak/KI4GGX/unpcbs/

... pertaining to our new "Stock K2 - PCB Upgrade Parts Kits", have now
been completed.  Additional minor changes will continue for the next day
or two to revise a few remaining webpages.

As soon as we know our costs, we will update our online shopping cart
and begin accepting orders for these new kits.  We anticipate shipping
will begin early in the second week of January.

For those of you who haven't started building your new K2, the recent
updates to our site are "MUST READING"!  There you'll learn about the
considerable benefits of incorporating all of these parts and un-module
headers into a single seamless K2 assembly process.  It also explains
which of our individual/per option parts kits you'll need, based on
which options you got with your K2.
                               --- - - - ---
Meanwhile, work on our new Companion Guide remains suspended since
Christmas Day, in order for us to prepare to supply these parts kits as
soon as possible.  Once  beta testing of the guide is complete, we will
publish it online in its present state.  Within a week or two, we intend
to re-release it with the improvements suggested during beta testing.

73,
Gary, KI4GGX
K2 #4067

P.S.  We may add one additional part to our upgrade parts kits product
line. It would be a set of replacement PA thermal pads, to support those
of you wishing to perform a one-time "plug & play ready" upgrade on your
existing stock/bare (or partially loaded) K2.
