Bypassing DSP to re-set filters in K2/100

K8RS
Ok, I want to adjust my filters using Spectrogram!

But first, I have to bypass the DSP.  And that is not working out.  Either the instructions in the DSP manual are not clear or I am having a brain cramp ...or a combination of both.

How do I get to the DSP menu to bypass it (turn it off)?  When I tap "Display" after I get the "CF1" screen, I get the voltage and current display.  What am I not doing? Or better yet, doing wrong?

After many failures with the Spectrogram and filter settings yesterday, I read today about "bypassing" my DSP.  So I am stymied!

Tap Display>(will show something like:  S1 nr nt)>Push and Hold Band + (will
show something like:  S1 . 10  3.0)>Push and Hold Band + (will show dSP
On)>Tap Band - (will show dSP bYP) - you have now bypassed the DSP Unit.
 >tap Display (will now show operating frequency) You are now operating as
usual but without the DSP engaged.

Make your filter adjustments as usual using Spectrogram.

When you are finished and back in the operating frequency display mode, do
the following to re-engage (turn back on) the DSP:

Tap Display (will show dSP bYP)> Tap Band + (will show something like:  d1
nr nt and then will quickly change to S1 nr nt) the DSP unit is now back on.
 >Tap Display (will show operating frequency) - - you are back in business!
