This may be off topic, but I read an interesting book on how digital technology affects
our Culture. Sort of along Marshall McLuhen's 'We make tools and then our tools remake us".
The book, written by an MIT Prof named Turkle, is called 'Alone Together' and was reviewed on NPR recently:
