Being into CW doesn't mean buying
shirts with CW on them. de Joe, aa4nn > > Hello all, > > If you're into CW, check out this place. > > http://www.cafepress.com/cwlifestyle > > 72, > > Ed, WA3WSJ > > Elecraft mailing list Post to: [hidden email] You must be a subscriber to post to the list. Haven't we seen this enough times?????????? I can only assume that Mr.
Breneiser is getting some sort of remuneration out of this based on the number of times he keeps asking us to "check it out". Dave W7AQK ----- Original Message ----- From: "Edward R. Yes, we have seen it enough times already!!!!!
This sure looks like attempted commercialization of the QRP-L group to me. Time to let him know we don't appreciate his obvious attempts to sell T-shirts. 73 - Bob, K6KL --- David Yarnes <[hidden email]> wrote: > Haven't we seen this enough times?????????? Let's see, Elecraft is commercial and appeals to QRP groups, and we don't complain about that...since we perceive what they offer is of value. >From time to time threre are threads about stores that sell to hams, or stores that sell supplies to hams, and not only do we not complain about that, we bemoan the fact that are less outlets that pander to us. We even promote businesses that commercialize QRP by extolling their virtues, psoting their phone numbers and web site addresses. > > Time to let him know we don't appreciate his > obvious attempts to sell T-shirts. >From my perspective, the annoying part is that like so many online marketers, the sales pitch is disguised as informational. A very effective way to show your displeasure is to NOT buy the tee shirts. 73,Thom-k3hrn www.zerobeat.net Home of QRP Web Ring, Drakelist home page,Drake Web Ring, QRP IRC channel, Drake IRC Channel, Elecraft Owners Database www.tlchost.net/hosting/ *** Web Hosting as low as 3.49/month _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [hidden email] You must be a subscriber to post to the list.
