CW Ratio & Rhythm

ALAN GARD
Hi All

Interesting and instructive discussion on CW ratios and weights.  But as far as I can see no-one has made the point that the most pleasing code follows a musical rhythm (think crotchets and quavers).  The requirement for this is not that a dah is three dit-lengths, necessarily, but that a dah plus its space takes *twice* the time of a dit and its space.  Adding or reducing "weight" should not affect this fundamental rhythm.

K3 VFO step rate setting for 1K

Manuel Maseda
 Hi,

Can someone tell me how to set the VFO step rate to 1K.  I messed around
with my settings and can't get it back to 1K.

Thanks,
Manuel  W4SSB
