Calibrate RF gain in K3 using XG3

Johnny Siu
Hello Group,

I know I may be overlooked.  I have some questions about the procedures of using K3 Uilities to Calibrate RF gain in K3:

1.  Which band signal should I choose in XG3?  20m or 40m?
2.  What would be settings of K3?  AGC off ? Pre-amp on?

Thanks for your help in advance.

TNX & 73,

Dick Dievendorff
The band doesn't matter.

The AGC/Preamp settings that matter are set by the K3 Utility's RF Gain
calibration, follow the on-screen instructions as displayed.  Preamp and
attenuator are both manipulated automatically during the calibration.
