Can the K2 be used as a SWL AM radio?

Question for the group.

Can the K2 also be used as a SWL AM radio? What SWL bands can you receive on
the standard K2?

Yes - I admit it. I have been reading the mail and am now considering a K2
since I run on solar
power and batteries.
