Can the K3 toggle between two power levels?

RICHH
Hi
I just learned about macros myself.
Try this- open the k3 utilitiy program and connect it to the k3
Open the command tester tab.
Click edit macros.
In the labels give it a label   maybe 5 for 5watts.
In the command to right type in  005    or         pc0051;
I have not tried it so I am not sure which works.
Click save.   try the macro on the computer to see if it works on the k3
If it works you can send these macros to the k3
>From  the help menu in the k3 utlity program:
Macro assignment procedure overview
  a.. Start the K3 Utility.
b.. Select the Command Tester/K3 Macros tab.
  c.. Click Edit Macros.
d.. Enter a short (up to 7 character) label in one of the first eight Macro Label text boxes. This label will appear in the K3's VFO B display area when you invoke the macro.
e.. Enter the sequence of K3 commands in the corresponding Macro Commands text box. You may use the Windows copy and paste functions to copy Macro Commands from source documents (such as the sample macros below) into the text boxes of the Edit Command Tester/K3 Macros dialog.
f.. Click "Send Macros 1-8 to K3" to store the macros in your K3.
g.. Leave the Edit Macros dialog by clicking Save or Cancel.
h.. On the K3 front panel, hold CONFIG and adjust VFO B until the word "MACROS" appears in the VFO B area.
i.. Tap 1-8 on the K3 numeric keypad to choose one of the 8 macros you wish to assign to a function switch.
j.. Assign this macro to a function switch by holding PF1 or PF2, or tap or hold M1-M4.
k.. Tap CONFIG to exit the menu.
l.. Try out your macro execution by tapping or holding the assigned function switch.

  Maybe setup a  macro
try     pc0051;       or pc005;  for 5watts
try pc5000;   for 500 milliwatts.

This ought to do it  bye Richard
