I just finish assembling my K3/100.
All went well until that last step of installing the KPA3. Now if I attempt to go to the CONFIG menu the radio beeps (It cycles from normal to main). The config menu never appears. I updated firmware using the K3 Utility. The problem still exists. The utility transmit calibration menu has the 50 watt test not highlighted (not available). I will look at responses to this before pulling the KPA3 out. Just to be sure .. you are HOLDing the MENU button to try to get to
config, right? Two taps won't get you there.... 73, ~iain / N6ML On Sat, Apr 7, 2012 at 11:53 PM, Dave (K7DRT) <[hidden email]> wrote: > I just finish assembling my K3/100. > > All went well until that last step of installing the KPA3. The K3 Utility doesn't know the KPA3 is there unless you enable the KPA3
configuration menu selection.
