Colour Codes

Stephen Brandt
Bad boys race our young girls, but violet grey wins.

I learned this version at a components id class I was required to take at work once a year.  Goes over better in mixed company.  Good luck if the component has a fifth band.  Yes, I also remember learning about Eli the ice man.

For a resistor color code chart, with the dials, try your local electronic store, other than Radio Shack, if you have one.  They still are usually not that hard to find.

    Good luck,

    Steve Brandt N7VS

Better be right, or your great big venture goes west!

(remembered from the 60's when I was learning this stuff)
