You can find additional info on Com0Com installation at the URL below.
The YCCC SO2R Box uses that program to redirect comports to use
the box.

and look at the manual section of the project.

Re: Com0Com

Another free virtual serial port scheme is that of N4HY. It's written
exclusively for hams. A licensed ham can get a copy free by emailing Bob,
N4HY. As I mentioned in my previous post, I tried Com0Com, and it appears to
work. However, I switched horses in mid-stream to N4HY's VSP, and I can
attest that it most definitely does work; I'm using it right at this
moment to send WSPR signals out through my Flex-1500.

Re: Com0Com

Damn, my last post was a bit confused. The *instructions* for the VSP were
written by N4HY, but the program itself is from Steve Nance, K5FR.

Here is the home page:
http://k5fr.com/ddutilwiki/index.php?title=VSP_Manager

VSP Manager is free to Amateur Radio Operators but you must ask Steve
explicitly for a copy and provide your call sign in order to get a copy.

My apologies to Steve and to anybody else I misled.
