In response to the person that just posted about DVR functions from a computer program -

SWT/SWH * (Switch Emulation; SET only) K3 Extended SET format (K31): SWTnn; (TAP functions) or SWHnn; (HOLD functions). nn is determined from Table 4. Table 4 says nn of 21 will do the same as taping M1 on the front panel so I believe this should work.
If you logging program doesn't support this command, you can assign a funtion key to a macro from the OS to generate this command and pass it to the K3.
