Demo of the K3 and PowerSDR/IF Stage

Hi All,

Scott (WU2X) and I did a short video last night showing the basics of  
his version of PowerSDR and the K3 as a high resolution 192khz  
panadapter.

This will be the beginning of a series that we will put together as  
the project matures.

Hi All,

The C31 trimmer , 5-30 pF, E540001, in my KAT100 is broken.
I have problems to get a new one here in Sweden. It seems that
I only can get one marked 6-50 pF. So how critical is the value?

Please advise.

Rolf,

The 6-50 should work but it will be more 'touchy' during adjustment.  
You could cut the PC trace at one end of the capacitor and insert a 100
pf fixed capacitor and the capacity range will be close to the original.

Just in case there was any misunderstanding - my suggested 100 pf
capacitor would go in series with your 6-50 pf trimmer, so that fixed
capacitor goes across the PC trace cut that might be made.
