Dirty trick, down loading Firmware in Vista

Hello All,
If you are have trouble in Vista down loading on the web, try this trick. It worked for me.

Drop the link below in the "Start Search" box.      {  Click window Round Icon on lower left. Click in Start search. }

ftp://ftp.elecraft.com/K3/firmware/beta/

Beta firmware appears, copy and paste to desktop. Ted  WP4CW

Or you could just open any explorer window, like "Computer", and then
enter that URL in the bar at the top. Once you have it, you can drag
the little folder symbol next to the URL into "Favorite Links" in the
side-bar, so all you have to do next time is click ...
