Downloading beta files

What is the procedure to download beta firmware? When I click the file
name from the ftp server I just get a link to it in my download folder.

Howard,

Instructions for the beta firmware can be found at
http://www.elecraft.com/K3/k3_beta_release_instructions.htm

You must RIGHT click on the filename and select "save file as" to save
to a folder you specify on your computer.  If you use "save file"
instead, it will go to whichever folder your computer downloads files by
default.
