My dual post bnc connector for my KX1 disappeared into the maw of my shack.
I'd like to order at least two more. Other than RS, Mouser, or OSE, any suggestions? Tnx. 73, Gil NN4CW _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [hidden email] You must be a subscriber to post to the list. Subscriber Info (Addr. Thanks for the responses. I re-checked Mouser and it was in stock today, but not yesterday, and two are on the way. 73, Gil NN4CW _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [hidden email] You must be a subscriber to post to the list. Hi all & lyle....
finally got to doing some upgrades,,,and how to use the dsp... I have "adjusted" the dsp aggressiveness from 1 to 99 , and while noticing the difference I cannot seem to "minimize" the NR . It seems at the lowest setting, to be ALOT of NR. compared to my other radios icom and the nicely adjustable bhi/Gap or even my Clearspeech speakers. Is there a way to "return to factory default settings???? maybe I've jazzed it up too much, trying to adjust it. I am certain that I can get this where I want it.... bill _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [hidden email] You must be a subscriber to post to the list. Hello Bill!

Be sure to try all four levels of denoiser (page 24 of the KDSP2 manual) as well as the beta and decay (pages 30-31). > Is there a way to "return to factory default settings???? Tables in the manual on page 37 show the defaults. There is no single command to restore them, you have to enter them individually. 73, Lyle KK7P _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [hidden email] You must be a subscriber to post to the list. Lyle,
Do you or anyone have waterfall plots of the DSP in action? I have heard the WAV files and mine doesn't sound as good and I want to try fiddling. When I turn the denoiser on in CW mode, the waterfall shows nulls every ~100Hz or so, and 600Hz falls right near one of those. The CW note sounds ragged when it gets near one and I need to RIT slightly to get it out of it. Are these nulls expected? The denoiser is a series of filters so what you describe is likely when there is just band noise and you are using a wide crystal filter. When a tone is received, the filters should tighten up around the tone. You may want to adjust the decay to to make them spread out less quickly if you observe that they are spreading back too quickly. I wouldn't expect a raspy tone when using the denoiser. The denoiser isn't much good if you are using a narrow filter, either crystal or DSP. It is only effective if you have the passband opened up. Hope this helps. 73, Lyle KK7P _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [hidden email] You must be a subscriber to post to the list. Subscriber Info (Addr.
