I'd just like to put my vote in here. My novice rig was an HW-16, and I've never quite got used to semi break-in since then. Once you get used to QSK it just seems natural. I often find myself turning down the AF gain a bit while in TX during CW ragchewing (always QSK), so I think a ducking option would be ducky.
