ECN spreadsheet data

I have the ECN data from before the hard drive crash but cannot read it.
I have tried LibreOffice and OpenOffice.  Neither application wants to
open an .sdc file created with StarOffice.  Does anyone have a clue for me
as to how I can open ECN.sdc so I can transfer it to one of these more
modern applications?

Hi Kevin,

Sorry to hear of the crash.  The document files in most of these programs like Star Office are really zip files.  If you change the suffix to .zip and then open them, you can usually extract a set of other files.  These are often XML or such and can be parsed for content.
