The Polar Bears will be at it again this year. Monday, 10/17, we will
all journey to Pulpit Rock on the AT. Some will drive up while others
will hike the two plus miles up the mountain. But, all will operate from
"the rock." If you contact a Polar Bear Monday evening, you can receive
a beautiful Polar Bear Midnight Madness Certificate. This year it looks
like a beauty! So listen for us Monday evening operating under a full
moon with our qrp radios. Give us a call and we'll send back a roar! Oh
yes, if you also operate from a mountain etc, you can purchase a Polar
Bear Baseball Cap - they look so cool! I'll send you out the company's
website and Polar Bear Info for you to buy one. One last item, I have a
new National Geographic Polar Bear Mouse Pad that I will send to the
first contact made with WA3WSJ.
So listen up for me starting late afternoon until the end. I will take
my K1 Serial #31 with me and operate on 20m & 40m. If you're my FIRST
