EPan and CW Skimmer

WA9VEE
Ya know, even with the LPPAN SDR display up, my eyes are always on CWSkimmer anyway instead of the scope display. So if the EPan is stand alone, that's fine with me.

Now if the K3 could just tell CWSkimmer what the IF shift is when changing roofing filters, and CWSkimmer would enhance their software to react to that change, things would be great. Even better, maybe the EPan unit will somehow make that information available. As it is, point and click in CWSkimmer doesn't work if the roofing filter changes.

That information is already available in the CAT interface.
Documentation is included in the K3 Programmers Reference
available on the Elecraft web site.  Look up the "FI" get
command for the IF center frequency.  FI was added in FW
2.13 (7/3/2008) more than a year ago.  It is up to the soft-
ware author to use the available tools.
