Had great fun getting to know my new K2 during EQP in spite of the non-ideal
conditions. Propagation not great on 20/15 during the day and 80/40 were
both QRN laden at nite. Didn't hear any EQP activity at all on 15. 20 was
by far the best band here. Put up a temporary 20 meter ground plane in the
back yard (the dependable and lovely 20' Black Widow fishing pole). 80 and
40 contacts were on my 35' random wire draped along my roof. All operation
at 5W, and spent about 11 hours total, CW only. QTH is Longmont Colorado.

This was a fun contest. I liked the starting and ending times. Have all
day Sunday for something else. I heard lots of Elecraft rigs, and they all
sounded GREAT!! I'll be back next year for sure.
