ERR KEY with WINKEYER

George Rebong
Every time I plus the USB cable in the back of my WINKEYER, I am getting an
error message "ERR KEY". Also during contest when I am running my Amplifier,
my WINKEY goes dead and out with Windows sound bang, like my USB has been
unplug. Can I put some torriods to the USB cable? Any suggestions.....

Re: ERR KEY with WINKEYER

Matt Zilmer
Suggestion:  Get a shielded USB cable and/or use them throughout the
shack.  Chassis-ground your computer.  Use the ferrites too, but try
those suggestions first.
