Easy Way to Watch Posts

Jim McCook W6YA
After seeing some people complain about the burden of sorting through
the reflector Emails, I can't imagine why anyone would do that.  It's
much easier to save a URL that goes right to the reflector, opening it
up with threads.  You can scan through the titles in seconds to see if
there is anything interesting to you.  Just scroll back to the last read
message (in black) and move forward up the list.  First you must elect
to receive NO email messages from the reflector.

http://www.mail-archive.com/elecraft@.../index.html

For other reflectors I also just use a URL to the archive, but most
require a periodic change in the URL to the current month. It takes no
time at all.  It makes life SO much easier.  Example:

http://lists.contesting.com/archives/html/cq-contest/2012-12/index.html

In a couple of days I'll change the 2012-12 to 2013-01.  That keeps
things going for January.  Then change it for February, etc.

73, Jim
W6YA

Well, Jim, if just everybody would obey the simple request to put a type
in the subject line everything would be ok but unfortunately time and
again this is omitted.
My T-bird filters does the job very good...
So: Especially those who own a K3: Put K3 after [Elecraft] in the
subject and don't let everyone read your post to find out what piece of
equipment you're writing about.

Big THANKS from all of us.

Happy New Year Folks!
