Echo in monitor audio

When I monitor my audio the audio has an echo to it . Is this normal or do I have something amiss??

Not sure  what you are using but I can tell you that this is normal on
the K3    since you are monitoring the output from the DSP that applies
EQ compression etc  you are hearing the monitor with a slight delay that
is a perceived echo      the advantage here is that you are hearing what
is going on the air after all the filtering is applied.
For voice monitoring without any processing or delays, set CONFIG:TX MON
to FAST.
