Elecraft CW Net Announcement

Kevin Rock
Good Evening,
I hope all is well with you.  We've had quite a bit of rain here and
down in Hillsboro.  Luckily we do not get much lightning.  In fact that is
quite rare unless you live in or near the Columbia Gorge.  Yesterday 20
meters was in good shape and the night before was the first running of the
Winter Fox Hunt.  The conditions were quite good for that too.  We had to
wait until the foxes jumped out of their respective lairs but they were
properly run hard and put away wet ;)
If you notice the schedule below I'll try to get the 40 meter net
running again.  The cessation of daylight savings time seems an
appropriate place to reinstantiate it for the winter season.  Hopefully
all those folks I've missed for the last few months are not too miffed at
me and will rejoin us once again.  Next week I will be busy with the
sweepstakes so the net may be on hold.  I'll check the calendar ... Yes,
last year we cancelled the net due to the sweepstakes.  This year I will
cancel it for three reasons.  One: the sweepstakes will take over both
bands in their entirety.  Two: I'll be running in the sweepstakes and be
bushed at the end of it.  Three: you all may be bushed too!

    The new sked:
Sunday 2400z (Sunday 4pm PST) 14050 kHz
Monday 0300z (Sunday 7pm PST)  7045 kHz

Visit our web site: http://ecn.visionseer.com/ for further details.  Thank
you for the web space Dan.

Hope to hear you all tomorrow.
    Happy Halloween,
       Kevin.  KD5ONS

           Boo!
