Good Evening,
Another hectic week but the project has been tested successfully. Now
for the SBIR round 2 grant :) If that comes through we'll be very happy.
This week I had to get up at 3 AM three days in a row. Saturday I slept
until noon and then started my chores. I still feel behind on my sleep
but our next test will be much closer. Well that is actually not true.
If I could have gone straight to where we tested the platform I would have
been the first one there. The lay of the lands means there are no roads
from here to there. I had to travel almost to Portland and then back down
the Columbia to get to a point only 18 miles away. Travel time of nearly
two hours.
I did not get a chance to get on the air this week because of all of my
early morning activities. I hope to do better this week! I know the
sunspot activity is slightly higher than earlier this week but am unsure
of the ionosphere. I will take my chances and hope for the best tomorrow.
Before I fall asleep on the keyboard I will send this off and get to
bed. That way I can get more chores done early in the day.
Please join us:
Sunday 2300z (Sunday 4pm PDT) 14050 kHz
Monday 0200z (Sunday 7pm PDT) 7045 kHz
Until tomorrow,
Kevin. KD5ONS
